Refund & cancellation policy

This policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations and refunds work for SolarDraft. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms below. We’ve tried to keep it plain and fair.
1. Free trial
You can use SolarDraft’s free trial to build sample designs and proposals before paying. No payment is taken during the trial, so nothing needs to be refunded if you decide not to continue.
2. Subscription & billing
Paid plans (Proposal, Rooftop and Commercial) are billed annually, in advance, at the price shown on our pricing page plus applicable taxes (GST). Your plan gives you the design and proposal limits listed for that plan for twelve months from the date of payment.
3. Refund window
If SolarDraft isn’t right for you, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment, provided you have not made substantial use of the plan — as a guide, generating more than 5 proposals or 5 finished 3D designs.
After 7 days, or once that usage is exceeded, subscription fees are non-refundable for the remainder of the billing year.
4. How to request a refund
Email solardraft.org@gmail.com from the email on your account, subject line “Refund request”. We aim to respond within 2 working days and, where approved, to process the refund within 5–7 working days to your original payment method.
5. What is not refundable
- Renewals, unless cancelled before the renewal is charged.
- Plans where the design or proposal usage above has been exceeded.
- Top-up packs, once any part of the pack has been used.
- Taxes and payment-gateway charges, where non-recoverable.
6. Cancellation & renewals
You can cancel anytime from your account or by email. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you keep access until then. Cancelling stops the next renewal — it does not, by itself, refund the current period.
7. Upgrades & downgrades
Upgrade anytime and pay only the pro-rated difference; your designs and proposals carry over. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
