Yes. SolarDraft has an Android app, and it also works in the browser. You can model a roof, place panels and check shading from your phone during the site visit.

The site survey runs on the phone too, and saves offline until you are back online.

The roadmap lists every launch, newest first, and you can suggest a feature there. The features page lists all 31 features in one place.

Every plan covers RCC terraces, tin-shed factory roofs, petrol pump canopies and parking structures. Pro, Premium and Custom add ground-mounted solar farms and agrivoltaics.

Projects go up to 500 kW on Basic, 1 MW on Pro and 10 MW on Premium. Custom covers projects above 10 MW.

Find the customer’s building on the satellite map and model the roof in 3D, with parapets, water tanks, staircase rooms and neighbouring buildings. Panels go only where they really fit.

You can also start the design from a site survey, which brings in the roof, its height and the shade objects.

LiDAR elevation data gives real building and obstacle heights, so shadows and layouts match the site.

SolarDraft plays the sun through every season over the 3D model, with hour-by-hour shading from trees, parapets and water tanks. Each panel is coloured by how much sun it gets: green gets the most, yellow and orange get less.

Every plan produces these from the same 3D model:

• Structure BOM: panels, inverter, cables, protection and mounting structure, ready for purchase and costing.
• PV array and string route drawings, so the crew builds exactly what sales designed.
• Single Line Diagram (SLD): the array, protection, inverter, metering and grid connection, for DISCOM paperwork and the install team. See what a solar SLD shows.
• Design report: the 3D view, system size, module count, roof area and estimated generation, plus a QR code to the interactive model.
• Energy report: month-by-month generation, specific yield, performance ratio and system losses for this roof and this layout.

Yes, on Pro, Premium and Custom. Structure customization lets you set the mounting structure for each roof, including elevated structures that clear parapets and keep the terrace usable. Premium and Custom add a custom structure designer.

• Ground mount: lay out fixed-tilt tables on open land, set the tilt, row spacing and ground clearance, and check row-to-row shading before you quote.
• Agrivoltaics: raise the array on tall structures over crop rows, with the clearance and tractor lanes the farm needs, so the same land grows crops and power.

Yes. Send customers a link to their own design in 3D. They can rotate the model and play the sun through the day on any phone. Every proposal also carries a QR code that opens the design in interactive 3D.

• Basic, projects up to 500 kW: homes, shops, schools and small factory roofs.
• Pro, up to 1 MW: factories, warehouses and small ground-mount sites.
• Premium, up to 10 MW: large C&I roofs, ground-mount and agrivoltaic farms.
• Custom, above 10 MW: utility-scale parks and open-access projects.

Premium has everything in Pro, plus a custom structure designer, a customer dashboard, web-based proposals, no watermark with 100% white label, and hosting on your own domain.

Custom has everything in Premium, plus an admin dashboard and API access, a white-labeled energy report, and dedicated onboarding and support. It is priced by quote: talk to us.

It is an 8-step survey on your phone: customer and bill, GPS location, roof, shade, electrical, backup needs, photos and the customer’s signature.

It records the roof type, size, height, parapet and facing, with photos from every side. It saves offline and syncs when you are back online. Share the survey PDF on WhatsApp, then start the 3D design from it.

The roof, its height, shade objects, cable lengths, tariff and subsidy flow into the 3D design, the proposal and the project. Nothing is typed twice.

You design backup the way customers think about it: which loads must keep running in a power cut, and for how many hours. SolarDraft works out the usable kWh, sizes the battery, picks a model and checks it against the hybrid inverter, its power limit and the space on site.

• SLD: the battery, breaker and BMS link are added.
• BOM: the battery, rack and cables are added automatically.
• Proposal: solar only, battery-ready and solar + battery side by side, with the hours of backup and the price of each.

Solar 3D Design, Solar Proposal and Solar CRM plans are annual subscriptions, billed in advance. Website plans are a one-time price, with annual maintenance and change requests priced separately.

You can ask for a full refund within 7 days of your subscription start date by emailing [email protected] or [email protected] with your order details.

After those 7 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, and there are no partial or pro-rata refunds for unused months. Refunds may be considered after that in cases of an extended service outage or a billing error, at SolarDraft’s discretion. Read the full refund policy.
